If the purpose of Bill C-11 is to protect and promote Canadian content, one has to wonder how much Canadian content will be available if Rodriguez pushes away the creators. Rodriguez is failing to recognize the importance of YouTubers like Tomchuk and McCullough in the very marketplace that he purports to be concerned about.
