James Gunn is breaking down why there will be a variety of characters in Clark Kent's life in Superman: Legacy. As the DCEU is coming to an end in 2023, a new DC Universe is on the horizon, with DC Studios actively working on several TV shows and movies that will be part of a fresh interconnected franchise. Superman: Legacy will be the true beginning of the DC Universe, with Gunn set to direct the highly anticipated reboot.
