Terrance Hector MacIntyre, 52, pleaded guilty to single counts of discharging a firearm with intent and mischief.In addition to the jail sentence, MacIntyre was also ordered to submit a DNA sample to the national registry, is banned from possessing firearms for 10 years and was ordered to forfeit all weapons and ammunition seized by police at the time of his arrest.A provincial court trial date has been set for a man charged in connection with a stabbing.
The offences are alleged to have occurred in Eskasoni in August. Police reported at the time to responding to a report of a stabbing on Shore Road where they found a 31-year-old man suffering from a stab wound to the upper abdomen. Morris was arrested without incident and after searching a home in the community, RCMP seized a knife and clothing.A man charged with a host of driving related offences has entered not guilty pleas and assigned a trial date.
