Moiz Karimjee, an assistant Crown attorney in Ottawa, is pushing back on allegations the disclosure was deliberate.

OTTAWA—A Crown lawyer is pushing back on allegations he deliberately made public a huge volume of personal cellphone data belonging to an organizer of the so-called “Freedom Convoy” protests, who argues his criminal charges should be dropped over what he sees as an unfair invasion of privacy.
