Congrats, Human Nature!
The popular Aussie vocal group will be inducted during the ARIA Awards in Sydney later this month, in recognition of a stellar 30-year career during which time they’ve shifted more than 2.5 million albums Down Under, and made a home-away-from-home on the Las Vegas Strip.
Hailing from Western Sydney, the group, comprising school friends Toby Allen, Phil Burton, and brothers Andrew and Michael Tierney, formed in 1989 as a creative outlet for their love of a cappella and doo-wop harmonies. In 2009, they opted for an unconventional route into the U.S. market. They eschewed the traditional coast-to-coast trek of pubs and clubs, instead grabbing a foothold on the colorful Strip of Sin City as headliners in residency.
Performing a jukebox of hits, five nights each week, the foursome recently announced a contract extension at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas through March 2022. In the ten years since they landed in Nevada, Human Nature has clocked up more than 1,700 shows.
