Columbus police are still searching for answers after a woman was found dead in southeast Columbus.
President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump are set to square off on the debate stage in an unprecedented election matchup.The woman, later identified as 33-year-old Danyaze Evans-Kourouma , suffered from a gunshot wound. An autopsy performed on April 26 confirmed that the gunshot wound had led to her death.
On April 25, authorities say they found a body near a construction site on Noe-Bixby and Carbondale Drive at around 2:05 p.m., near the Interstate 270 overpass.The woman, later identified as 33-year-old Danyaze Evans-Kourouma, suffered from a gunshot wound. An autopsy performed on April 26 confirmed that the gunshot wound had led to her death.
Investigators say they are still trying to determine the circumstances that led to her death. They say that Evans-Kourouma was known to frequent the areas of Lilley Avenue, Berkeley Road and East Livingston Avenue.
