In a disheartening incident, the Pumpkin display at Glasgow Square Theatre has fallen victim to vandalism.
The large fibreglass Pumpkin, created by Todd Vassallo, featuring artwork from River Run Cafe, was a centrepiece of Destination Halloween, a project organized by Creative Pictou County. This artistic endeavour was aimed to enhance the Halloween spirit in the town. Community members on social media expressed their frustration and sadness about the vandalism, with one comment reading, “It's sad that some people get enjoyment out of destroying what actually brings normal people joy.”
New Glasgow Regional Police are urging anyone with information regarding the incident to call 902-752-1941.
