The school division said in the letter that the fee will apply to all students who stay at their school over lunch and will help recover the cost of supervision, but will not pay for food. “This cost-recovery fee will help cover the expense of supervision that is not funded by provincial operating grants. In the past, the division absorbed this expense,”
