An investigation is underway into the cause of a fire at the Durham Region Transit bus depot in Oshawa.

It broke out around 2:20 a.m. Wednesday at the depot located at 710 Raleigh Avenue, near Farewell Street and Bloor Street. Fire Chief Steve Barkwell says a staff member at the depot called in the blaze, which started in one of the bus bays at the back of the buildings. At it’s height, it was a three-alarm fire, but it was contained to the bus bay area and is now under control.No one was hurt.DRT has listed a number of cancellations and updates to some routes because of the fire.• PULSE 900
