A social worker with the Durham District School Board and Durham Alternative Secondary School is facing sexual assault and sexual exploitation charges.
The Durham police Special Victim’s Unit arrested the 41-year-old after a youth came forward to report that their social worker had been inappropriately touching them. It happened between June and July 2023 when the suspect would pick up the victim in his personal car for their sessions.Police want to make sure there are no other victims.He was released on an undertaking.
