Paramount+ Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies got its first official trailer on Tuesday
The first official trailer for a Grease prequel series has been released, but fans have predicted the show will “flop” after watching the “cringe” trailer. Paramount+ dropped the trailer for Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies during The Drew Barrymore Show on Tuesday , alongside a special appearance by the four female leads.
The series stars Marisa Davila, Cheyenne Isabel Wells, Ari Notartomaso, and Tricia Fukuhara as the founding members of the titular high school clique. It is written and executive produced by Annabel Oakes , who also serves as showrunner.Since the trailer dropped on Tuesday, fans have taken to social media to share their dismay at the “cringe” clips, with many questioning why the series has been made in the first place.
