DUSC plugged got two goals into the back of the net in the first half, with Dothan native Alec Palanjian playing a major role in the opening scoring effort. Local players continued to shine in the second half, with Dothan’s Mason Roe and Gabino Morin of Slocomb each finding the back of the net during the final 45-plus minutes of game time. In all, Dothan United put four in the net in the second half, leading to the 6-0 win for the Dragons.
With this game being a friendly, it will not count for or against Dothan United’s official season record of 3-2-2. DUSC will get back into league play on Wednesday, as the Dragons welcome East Atlanta FC for a Juneteenth showdown at home.
