The attack itself was horrific but what may be more disturbing is how dozens of witnesses filmed the attack and shared it on social media.

Vancouver Police added that videos and photos could be “important evidence in this very serious case.” If you were hoping there would be some compassion rather than a pathetic grab for page views, think again. Videos and images from the vicious, apparently random attack remain available for all to see – and many Canadians are sick of it.
