In advance of what\u0027s become an extremely important home game against the Hamilton Tiger\u002DCats Friday, Nate Behar lit a fuse Tuesday.

While talking about his team needing to rise from a five-game losing streak and beat a team that’s one spot ahead of it in the CFL East Division standings, the Ottawa Redblacks receiver talked about his dislike for the Ticats, a team he said, “makes a lot of noise. I think it’s pretty well documented how we feel about these guys, the way they approach playing football defensively, as a unit.”Asked to elaborate, Behar said: “They like to take shots when people aren’t looking.

“I’d be lying to say it’s not a very important game,” said Redblacks head coach Bob Dyce. “It’s a team that’s ahead of us and we’re playing in front of our great home fans. For us to get to where we want to go, we have to win. What happened yesterday happened yesterday. We have to beat these guys.” To bury the old, “We’ll give it 110 per cent” cliché … because we, of course, know that’s not possible, the Redblacks need to figure out a way to do more.

While the Ticats don’t get much of a break following a 41-28 loss to the Toronto Argos on Monday, Dyce and his football team are prepared for a tough battle.
