Only four Dallas City Council districts will hold budget town hall meetings in Spanish.

Dallas Districts 1, 2, 3 and 8 will have the bilingual option for residents for in-person and virtual meetings.

Dallas Districts 1, 2, 3, and 8 will have bilingual options for residents for in-person and virtual meetings, which will be held March 25-28. The Department of Language Access did not respond to a request for comment on why only four districts will hold bilingual meetings. District 1, where about 68,000 residents are Hispanic, will be given a headset to listen to the live interpretation, said District 1 council member Chad West.In District 2, Hispanics are the second largest demographic with about 48,000 residents, just behind 59,000 whites.
