CHARLOTTETOWN, P.E.I. — Charlottetown is once again at the forefront of the waste reduction and sustainability movement as it welcomes the return of Waste Reduction Week from Oct. 16 to 22.
The Environment and Sustainability Department has partnered with various local organizations to organize a series of engaging events throughout the week. These events shine a spotlight on local businesses and services dedicated to waste reduction in Charlottetown. Additionally, virtual film screenings, presented in collaboration with Happy Ocean, feature thought-provoking short films like"Plastic Is Forever" and"Everything Connects." These films are part of the"Kids Can Save the Planet" video series.
