He noted the township repeatedly asked for traffic studies in order reduce speed limits on state routes in the township, including Red Hill Road and Juniata Parkway East. PennDOT conducted studies but concluded no speed limit reduction was warranted in either case. Furthermore, Beaver said Howe also had to finance and install traffic control signs the township wanted on state routes.
