Meet Bullet, our Pet of the Week. Bullet is two to three years of age and is a very handsome black panther domestic shorthair.Bullet was a stray who was surrendered to one of our local pounds. During the off season, when the shelter isn’t slammed with kittens, we go to our local pounds and pull cats to fill our shelter catteries up. This frees up kennels at the pounds and gives our feline friends a second chance to find their forever homes.
Bullet came to SOS Animal Shelter with 18 others and was adopted out quickly. Unfortunately, his adoptive family was unaware that their child had severe allergies to cats. They did everything they could to keep Bullet, but it just wasn’t fair to him or their child. The family was heartbroken and said Bullet was the best pet. Bullet is easy going, loves napping, and keeping his coat extra shiny. He does well with the other cats in our cattery and, of course, we have to mention that he is devilishly handsome. If you are a first-time pet owner, or just wanting to add to your feline family, stop into SOS and meet Bullet, he is literally the purrrfect cat.
