Pitcher Yusei Kikuchi continues impressive spring but Toronto Blue Jays fall 7-2 to Pittsburgh Pirates
Toronto pitcher Yusei Kikuchi continued his impressive spring with three no-hit innings before the Blue Jays fell 7-2 to the Pittsburgh Pirates in spring training baseball action Tuesday.
He has yet to surrender a run and has struck out nine over seven innings in three preseason appearances.Ricky Tiedemann replaced Kikuchi in the fourth and gave up a two-run homer to Carlos Santana as the Pirates took a 2-0 lead.
