Blue Jays' Yusei Kikuchi keeps building on strong early spring Via longleysunsport
“Overall, I think I’m using all the pitches efficiently,” Kikuchi said. “I wanted to attack the hitters with my fastball and felt I was able to attack the zone much more aggressively today.”The big league education for Ricky Tiedemann continued on Tuesday as I got a taste of what a seasoned big league hitter can do to a pitcher – young or old.
Unbothered by the one that got away, Tiedemann came back in the second and needed just six pitches to retire the side. In fact, manager John Schneider said he’ll soon do some light hitting work in the batting cage back at the team’s player development complex.
