Belleville Police responded to 74 calls for service from 5 a.m. on March 15, 2023 to 5 a.m. on March 16, 2023.A 45-year-old Belleville male has a third bail hearing in five days Thursday morning after repeatedly breaching his conditions this week.
On March 10, the male was arrested for assault and uttering threats. He was released on bail on March 13 with conditions not to return to the scene of the assault. Within hours of his release, he returned to the scene and was arrested. He was released on bail for a second time on March 15, again with conditions not to return to the scene of the assault. Within hours of his release, he again returned to the scene was subsequently arrested and held for bail.
The original charges are still before the courts, with additional counts of failing to comply with judicial release order.
