An arrest affidavit in the March case says that Aurora police Officer Eduardo Landeros was driving over 100 mph just before the crash, and his speed was between 88 mph and 98 mph at the time of impact.
An Aurora police officer involved in a fatal crash with his patrol vehicle was charged Thursday with vehicular homicide in the case.
Landeros is charged with vehicular homicide — reckless driving and criminally negligent homicide, according to the Arapahoe County District Attorney’s Office.
