The Army, following guidance from the Defense Dept., banned short form video app TikTok from all government-owned phones, according to an Army spokeswoman. 'It is considered a cyber threat,' the spokeswoman said.
"The message directs appropriate action for employees to take in order to safeguard their personal information.
