Ken Boehlke of Sin Bin Vegas joins the show to talk Jack Eichel’s season.
: Ken, before we let you go, I just wanted to get your assessment of year 1 in terms of a full season of the Jack Eichel rollercoaster. There are moments where he’s looked like a world-beater, some slumps, injury problems, and then back up on the rollercoaster so what’s your overall assessment of how he looks and how he fits into the locker room?: I think the more you watch him, you start to understand what Buffalo fans were telling us forever.
But he is an elite player, and he has elite tendencies, and it’s just whether or not it will be turned on every single night. I think it is getting better, as we have gone on throughout the season we’ve seen more and more of him be consistent which makes him good on both ends, we just don’t know what it will look like in the playoffs.
