Located at 1 King St., A1A Aleworks posted on Facebook the closure would take effect May 26. Hundreds of people responded on social media to remember and support the restaurant. "With a heavy heart, we announce the closure of A1A Aleworks on May 26. We are grateful for your loyalty and invite you to say goodbye in the coming days," the restaurant owners posted.In lieu of your rewards, we would like to offer you a certificate for the balance of your current rewards account. A1A Aleworks is owned by SPB Hospitality, which also has local restaurants Ragtime Tavern, Seafood & Grille in Neptune Beach and Seven Bridges Grille & Brewery on the Southside as part of its portfolio.
