'A very nice surprise' - TinOne Resources' lithium discovery lithium TinOneResources
- An extensive drill program is planned for a recent lithium discovery, said TinOne Resources' CEO Chris Donaldson.TinOne is focused on the exploration and growth of prospective tin, tungsten and lithium projects in Australia, with a focus on Tasmania. The company is a member of the Inventa Capital group, which was co-founded by Vizsla Silver's Michael Konnert.
TinOne's Tasmanian projects include Aberfoyle, an historic tin mine that saw activity as far back as the 1800s. While prospecting for tin and tungsten at Aberfoyle, the company discovered lithium mineralization. The company said that the grades are line with mica-hosted projects in Europe. "It wasn't our focus," said Donaldson."But it was a very nice surprise. We're following up right now with an extensive targeted program."Follow michaelmccrae [email protected] www.kitco.com
