SANTA CLARA – Celebrating a 4-4 record seems rather, um, bold. But the 49ers have a renewed sense of playoff worth entering their bye. Samuel’s 387 receiving yards rank 38th in the NFL, he’s run for 33 yards in his past five games, and the 49ers just won their biggest game without him.His eight sacks are one shy of reclaiming the NFL’s outright lead, even after missing 1 ½ games with a groin issue.
