YouTube lands NFL Sunday Ticket deal, reportedly worth $2 billion a year
YouTube declined to comment to Insider on the reported terms of the deal.
NFL Sunday Ticket allows viewers to watch NFL Sunday games that are outside of their local market. The package was highly sought after, with Disney, Apple, and AmazonThe deal is another win for tech titans looking to make a bigger play in sports. NFL games are still some of the most-watched telecasts on broadcast networks in any given year.
It follows the likes of Amazon and Apple snagging coveted sports packages. Amazon Prime Video is now the home of Thursday Night Football, and Apple TV+ streams Friday night MLB games.
