A reader wonders why border czar Vice President Kamala Harris traveled to the DMZ separating the two Koreas but not the border between Mexico and the U.S.On the issue of immigration, perhaps we can all take a step back and consider that since 1965 there have been six Republican and five Democratic presidents, and while both parties have had more than ample time to address the issue, neither party has done so effectively.

As simple as it sounds, before a solution can be found, the problems must be clearly identified. Possibly a multifaceted national-international group of people could begin to do just that.So Vice President Kamala Harris went to the border between North and South Korea, but she can’t go to the southern border of the U.S. to check out the immigration situation.Pat ShoemakerI moved to San Antonio five months ago.
