The already competent Canyon AT4X gets a lift and bigger tires.
, the 2024 Canyon AT4X AEV comes with hardware that makes off-roading even easier and the truck more capable to conquer obstacles in the great beyond. Joining the extra capability is the off-road styling that comes with the more focused hardware.. These beadlock-capable rims could give users more control with tire pressure, so long as they actually use the beadlocks.Though likely more important for some folks, the wheels help show that you sprung for the AEV package.
Joining the larger tires is an extra lift. AEV is cranking up the AT4X another 1.5 inches. This extra lift likely helps make sure the tires clear the bodywork, but, like the taller tires, give you even more height. This extra clearance can help you avoid damage while hitting the trails, but, again, looks cool on the street, too.This GMC Canyon also comes with stamped-steel AEV bumpers in the front and rear. These new bumpers give the Canyon an even better approach and breakover angles.
GMC says this Canyon AT4X AEV Edition will be ready for orders later this year. GMC hasn’t hinted at the price, but count on it being more expensive than the already pricy Canyon AT4X’s $56,995 base price. It wouldn’t be a shock to have this AEV package launch this pickup north of $60,000. We’ll know for sure closer to the GMC Canyon AT4X AEV Edition’s launch.
