The chances of Young Sheldon season 7 premiering on time become smaller in light of the cast's response to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike.

Young Sheldon season 7's chances of making its supposed fall premiers decrease in light of the cast's response to the SAG-AFTRA strike. In historic fashion, the SAG-AFTRA and Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers failed to reach a deal before the deadline, resulting in an industry-wide work stoppage for actors. This follows the Writers Guild of America strike that started in May 2023.

Missy and Sheldon actors Raegan Revord and Iain Armitage take it to their official Instagram accounts to support the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike. Check out their posts below: SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT Armitage expressed his support for the writers' fight for fair and appropriate pay when the WGA strike first started via his social media posts. Revord, on the other hand, even attended one of the rallies, alongside Young Sheldon co-stars Lance Barber and Zoe Perry.

Why Getting Delayed Is Really Bad For Young Sheldon Season 7 CBS has maintained that Young Sheldon will return with season 7 during its usual fall TV season comeback schedule. By then, the network was likely still optimistic that the issue between writers and studios will be resolved sooner rather than later. More than two months into the WGA strike, it doesn't seem like the issue has any end in sight, which means that work stoppage will continue throughout the summer.

However, both strikes may get resolved in the next couple of weeks. That would be the ideal situation, as Young Sheldon season 7 and other scripted shows can quickly get back on track in terms of scheduling. In any case, hopefully, the issues get resolved, and everyone gets a fair deal as WGA and SAG-AFTRA fight for better working conditions and appropriate pay for their members.
