A new Young Sheldon season 6, episode 18 trailer may have revealed the first look at George's new mistress. With Brenda Sparks finally making amends with George, it's difficult to imagine that she will move forward with a full-blown affair with the Cooper patriarch. But with Sheldon's story from The Big Bang Theory about catching his dad in bed with another woman still looming, it means that Young Sheldon will have to debut a new mistress for George.

In the clip, George is talking to an unidentified lady in his home while casually drinking beer. Watch the clip below: The Young Sheldon episode titled "Little Green Men and a Fella's Marriage Proposal" will also reveal Mandy's answer to Georgie's question about tying the knot. But as seen in previous outings, The Big Bang Theory prequel likes to have unexpected plot twists in its storytelling to keep things fresh, so it isn't outside the realm of possibility that it moves George's cheating scandal plot forward as well.
It has been confirmed that the said incident will not be tackled in Young Sheldon season 6. In fact, showrunner Steve Holland floated the idea that the prequel may not even show on-screen. But, that doesn't mean that the series can just skip it altogether. At the very least, Young Sheldon needs to acknowledge that it happens — otherwise, this threatens to destroy the established canon.
Young Sheldon season 6 is on another mini-hiatus— its last for the year. After that, there will be four consecutive new episodes, including a special one-hour finale. So much like all lingering plotlines in the series, expect that there will be considerable development when it comes to George's cheating arc.
