Thankfully, we were fortunate to learn personal finance, so we are not intimidated by these financial issues. Learning how to manage your finances should be a fundamental part of a student’s learning. Schools teach things such as how to find the area of a triangle but that won’t prepare someone for getting a loan for an apartment, pay taxes, or build wealth through savings and the compounded interest of investments. It’s also important to be well-educated in these topics so that we’re not taken advantage of by predatory practices.
