A new father and a soon\u002Dto\u002Dbe father have been identified as two of the young men who died in a tragic plane crash in Alberta on Friday.
Family-launched online fundraising campaigns place Kirk Mealey and Adam Laser as two of the six men who died onboard the small aircraft when it crashed into the side of Mount McGillivray west of Calgary. The plane left Springbank Airport last Friday evening bound for Salmon Arm, B.C., where police say the men were heading to attend a church event.Mealey is survived by his pregnant wife, Emily, and their unborn baby boy, who’s due in early September.
