Justin Trudeau’s grocery rebate is just another ruse to make you think he’s doing something for Canadians. The sad part is that he’s using our money to pay low-income earners a one-time cash amount according to their income. His government claims 11 million of our 40 million population will receive some amount of cash. How nice that the remainder of the population will be subsidizing lower-income earners because of his government’s disastrous economic policies.

We are also going to financially support his daycare program for folks who have children they can’t afford or those who need a three-car garage to keep up with the Joneses. Instead of using our tax money to subsidize their vote-buying programs, why not simply lower taxes for everyone and let them budget their own expenses?Article content

I believe Canadians are now convinced that budgets don’t balance themselves; Trudeau’s last eight years in power have proven that. So let Canadians decide what they need and how they’re going to pay for it.We have become the servants to our civil servants. Weak-livered governments looking for votes and unions that care little for the country have allowed our civil servants to have working conditions far more generous than the common folk could ever dream of.
