Singh also continues to whine that everyone should pay “their fair share”. But who calculates what that fair share is, and who in hell is he or the NDP to be the arbiters of determining who is or is not paying a fair share? The only credible point Singh harps on is that consumer protection laws are sadly inadequate and need to be rebalanced — in all areas — to remove the gross advantage currently in favour of businesses and industry.Is there a food shortage coming? Let’s make Canadians aware of what this unqualified government might be doing again.
Just in on ticker tape! In January 2023, we had an export merchandise trade “surplus” of $1.9 billion, helped by the exports of wheat, canola oil and soybeans. We can only guess where it all went. This government is not known for its foresight.The aftermath of the horrific explosion that levelled many houses in Orléans and injured 12 fortunately has led to an arrest.
Had there been someone hired to watch the area, this ugly incident may never have come to pass. Let that be a lesson to developers and builders, especially since they have the money to pay for it.
