Ottawa has been rocked by several shooting incidents lately, along with other violent crimes. Much of this has happened in disenfranchised neighbourhoods where law-abiding residents live in fear. It is high time carding was brought back to our fair city. Yes, I can hear the howls of progressive special interest groups crying racism. This could not be farther from the truth; carding keys in on the criminal element and has been instrumental in solving many crimes, including homicides.
