Image: Disney Pluson December 8. The new plan is called Disney Plus Basic, and it includes all of the same content as the ad-free Disney Plus Premium plan. The most important difference is that the ad-supported plan includes regular commercial breaks. But it turns out that there’s another limitation on the ad-supported plan: Disney Plus Basic isn’t available on Roku devices.
This restriction also applies to the Duo Basic and Trio Basic Disney Bundles, both of which come with Disney Plus with ads. Basically, if your subscription includes Disney Plus Basic, you won’t be able to watch Disney Plus on any Roku device using your account., Disney says that it is currently in talks with Roku to resolve the issues that are keeping Disney Plus Basic from streaming on Roku devices.
