An online post about a possible shooting at a York University dorm room along with a photo of a cracked dorm room window is sparking conversations about what actually took place on campus Sunday evening.
show a small hole through the window of a student residence unit and a web of broken glass surrounding it, with a user writing “Shooting at York University Quad residence today.”
Toronto police said the incident at 105 The Pond Road was reported to them on Sunday at approximately 7 p.m., and officers attended the scene for a “shooting call,” locating a “damaged window.”
