"It’s been brought to my attention that my old views on life was ignorant," he wrote. "I apologize to the LGBTQ kommunity for ever komin across like i was anything but respectful and accepting. Live. Love. Ya Life.
Many users quickly thanked YG for putting his tweet out, saying that his outward apology showed growth. Some skeptics said that they wanted to see a change in his behavior before they could accept his apology. Some other users commented that YG's change of heart may have been spurred on by his public relationship last year with R&B starit’s been brought to my attention that my old views on life was ignorant.
