Their lives were changed within seconds but these shark bite survivors still enjoy the ocean.

“It felt like a grab at first, and then it just ripped into the skin,” she told TODAY. “And that’s when it hurt and felt like a bite.”

“I still surfing as I believe it is ‘good for the soul,’” he recently told TODAY. “But I always believe that it’s smart to be with a friend whenever you’re in the water.” “Im doing really good since the piece aired,” Reed said. “I just graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology this May and recently got hired to work the emergency room of the hospital that I was to after my shark bite as I am pursuing a career in medicine.”
