YangHyunSuk’s Brother YangMinSuk Returns To CEO Position At YG Entertainment
Yang Hyun Suk’s brother Yang Min Suk has resumed his position as the CEO of YG Entertainment.
On July 1, YG Entertainment announced through the electronic disclosure system DART that the current CEOresigned as the CEO of YG Entertainment due to various scandals at the time. After three years, he is now back to being the co-CEO of the agency. YG Entertainment commented, “Co-CEO Yang Min Suk will strive to strengthen YG Entertainment’s competitiveness by promoting steady activities of the artists and further strengthening cooperation with global partners. We expect there will be positive synergy as we focus on YG Entertaintment’s sustainable development and increase corporate value by adding strong momentum to future new growth engines like intellectual property and platform businesses.
Through the agency, Yang Min Suk shared, “I will not forget the management philosophy as a company that fulfills social responsibility by completing a quick and efficient decision-making system.”
