The elder Judd died by suicide at age 76 on April 30, 2022, the day before she and her daughter were slated to join the Country Music Hall of Fame.

I think it’s important to remember that Wynonna Judd, 58, appeared in a black satin outfit with red spiky shoulder pads and belted out a rendition of Foreigner’s “I Want to Know What Love Is,” accompanied by superstar Ashley McBryde.
“And that was my ‘I don’t understand.’ I went back and forth between hitting a really high note and being a diva or saying what was on my heart and it took over and so here we are.”“I want to help people,” said the country superstar. “It’s like, look at my face. Look at this face. If you’re having a crappy day and just think, ‘If I can do it, so can you.’ Because it’s not easy.”
