Quadra Island RCMP are looking for the Cinderella who left a green boot at the scene of a shed break-in and attempted boat theft.
Police received a report May 1 that a broken generator and some rope had been stolen from the shed in the Heriot Bay area some time over the preceding 10 days, and an attempt had been made to steal a boat, as well.“While in the frantic process of attempting to steal the boat, the culprit fled, leaving his long johns and one sole green boot,” police said in a news release. “The Quadra RCMP would love to return this boot to its rightful owner and find their Cinderella for this theft.
