“I was pretty pumped in our three games against the top three teams in the league,” Carter said. “We came out on top in all three games.”“Walking off the ice after the game against Knoxville in our home rink, the only thing I had on my mind was being with the team and celebrating. I got pulled aside and told to go back out on the ice for being named the second star.”“It’s an honour to pull on their jersey,” Carter said. “The support we have from the fans and booster club is just great.
“In December, Birmingham was hit by some injuries on defence, I was called up and joined the team,” Carter recalled. “This has been a good opportunity, coming to a contending team and getting a chance to showcase my game. I feel really fortunate getting this chance to play in the Southern Professional Hockey League.”“Gavynn and I played together in peewee, bantam, and in, then in junior A with Edmundston,” Chase said.
