The OP’s Mexican colleagues obviously thought the same thing, so they were not at all embarrassed to discuss other employees in front of her, and they didn’t mince words at all. What’s even more weird, when the author called her family in anticipation of support, the relatives said that she herself was to blame because she eavesdropped on conversations not intended for her ears.
