HALIFAX, N.S. — Students across Atlantic Canada can now find information on work well-being through a website launched during the 2023 Atlantic Canada Career Week.
Spearheaded by the Council of Atlantic Ministers of Education and Training, the Careers Atlantic Canada website succeeds the one from last year, with a new theme Your Skills, Your Success, Your Well-Being. It has added resources for youth to learn how to develop positive relationships with colleagues and supervisors, feel valued and supported, boost a sense of belonging and purpose, manage stress and emotions, as well as build self-confidence and resilience.
The website primarily serves students in post-secondary education, aiming to help them understand the relationship between skills for success and the skills needed to support well-being when navigating the labour market and making career decisions.
