HUNTSVILLE, Texas — The body of a Montgomery County woman who went missing while kayaking inJennifer Luten, 44, rented a kayak from the self-serve station around 6 p.m. on Oct. 24, Tsaid. The kayak was found by other kayakers the next morning floating on Lake Raven and her car was still at the boat ramp, TPWD said.
State Park police with the help of the Huntsville Fire Department, Huntsville Police Department, New Waverly Fire Department, Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas Game Wardens started searching for Luten. They used divers, sonar boats and K-9 teams to look for her. On Saturday, Oct. 28, the Montgomery woman's body was found.
