A woman was saved in the nick of time and avoided getting hit by a TTC subway train.

A passenger filmed a 29-second video of a woman pretending to tightrope-walk along the yellow edge of the subway tracks at the Bloor-Yonge station.Fellow commuters, on the same platform as well as on the other side, watched in disbelief as the woman teetered on the edge. One passerby with a cane approached the woman and tried to grab her arm and pull her to safety but the wannabe circus performer wasn’t having it, and shrugged him off.
The man can be heard saying, “move away, move away” as he continued to try to get the woman to step back from the edge, which prompted other concerned travellers to intervene.Article content It should be noted the other Good Samaritans were cautiously mindful of the woman’s space, so as not to put themselves and others at risk during the potentially volatile situation..As the train quickly approached the station, one man decided to make a bold move and grabbed the woman’s backpack and yanked her away from the tracks at the last minute while the original rescuer blocked her — seconds before the train pulled in.
