A Panini’s employee reported Oct. 4 that she was receiving numerous unwanted calls from a Cleveland woman, 29, because she had been texting that woman’s boyfriend, who is also her co-worker at the restaurant.
They learned there was a family disturbance in which the woman’s son punched his mother’s husband twice because he believed he had pushed his mother. The owner of Marathon reported Oct. 4 that a check written and given to a beverage delivery driver was attempted to have been cashed in the name of an unknown man.Detectives are working with the beverage company to identify the delivery driver and his involvement.A woman reported Oct. 9 that her purse was stolen from a nursing home, and it had $500 cash inside of it.
A list of all employees working the day of the reported theft was provided and detectives are investigating.A resident reported at 10:15 p.m. Oct. 6 that someone pounded on a window at her home on two occasions and ran from the home.
